Girl in the Bubble

Grief-stricken after her first child dies of a rare immune disorder, Chloe becomes obsessed with protecting her second child, Lily, from the same fate, to the point of sealing her away in a glass chamber. Her father Dan has found a way to make the ongoing streaming story of Lily's life within the bubble lucrative, and when tests reveal that Lily does not in fact have the syndrome that took her brother, Dan buries the results. When Lily makes contact with Kyle, a boy her age out in the wide world she is forbidden to experience, the walls of her perfect world begin to crack.
