Dental surgeon Dr. James Ryan (50s), a respected figure in his Maryland community, becomes dangerously obsessed with beauty queen Sarah Harris (25) after she visits his office, manipulating her with surgical-grade narcotics to gain control over her. When Sarah is found dead and the police rule it a suicide, her grieving mother Tina—convinced Ryan is responsible—teams up with daughter Rachel to uncover the truth, ultimately unearthing damning evidence that leads to explosive criminal charges.
